NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A doctor accused of collaborating with multiple companies in a multimillion dollar healthcare scheme has been convicted, prosecutors said Tuesday. [WTZV Tue, September 5th 2023 at 6:38 PM  Updated Thu, September 7th 2023 at 4:44 PM]

“According to the Dept. of Justice, in 2019, Benjamin T. Toh, of Chicago, and others were responsible for more than $9.5 million dollars worth of fraud. They are accused of submitting untrue claims to Medicare and Medicaid on behalf of cancer genetic tests.”

    In my decades of interacting with ubf leaders, the words that come to mind about their character are: fraudulent, double-mindedness, and shrewdness. ubf leaders claim neither guilt nor innocence; they claim ignorance. These things I see in my self as well. I wish no ill-will toward our friend Ben, and yet this supreme example of the consequences of duplicity cannot be ignored.

    Another thought… notice how a jury of peers (who know nothing of ubfism) did not believe Ben’s stories. In contrast, dozens of ubf people supported him without question. These old comments come to mind: ubfriends 1.0
